Are there Hidden Messages on our televisions during buying season?

Have you ever noticed that during the holiday season we as consumers are bombarded by ads for material things. I wonder if there are subliminal messages put into commercials by the makers of these products. It would make sense.

Cell Phones and the Government

Isn't it funny how after Sept. 11, all cell phones were required to have some kind of GPS locator in them? This is just another example of how our privacy is being taken away from us. The cell phone companies tell us this is for our safety. If we are lost we can be found. What if we don't want to be found?

The Post Office is A Scam

I think that the USPS is one of the biggest scams on the earth. Where else can you find and orginization that has a compelte monopoly on mail? Sure there is DHL, FedEx and UPS, but these orginizations are not allowed to deliver first class mail. This must be done through the USPS.

It has just been announced that on January 8th that the USPS will increase the first class stamp form 37 cents to 39 cents. This is not going to make or break anyone, but why is there a need for an increase in stamp prices? Sure there is inflation but is two cents really going to make a differnece? I say no it isn't. If the USPS would spend less time on designing stamps with dead presidents, dead rock stars, dead movie stars, mountains, scenery, and landmarks they may be able to cut down on the price of the stamp. We are the ones who pay the USPS's salaires as well as their gasoline vechicles etc. We were not even allowed to vote on a stamp increase. My friends, we complain about Microsoft, but the biggest monopoly is right under our noses. Something must be done to stop this government run monopoly!!

Did Man Ever Land on the Moon?

Do you think that we ever landed on the moon? It is common belief that we did indeed land on the moon. However, what proof do we have? Sure we have video of the moon landing, but how did the video feed work so well in 1969. We can barley get a video phone to work, yet the moon picutres came through fairly clear.
